COURSE OVERVIEW:
The PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to teach you how to prevent and manage diving-related emergencies, as well as how to respond effectively if they do occur.
It's a demanding yet rewarding course that builds on your existing knowledge and experience, making you a more confident and capable diver.
STEP 1 - KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT:
You'll study self-rescue techniques, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency equipment and procedures, and more.
This theoretical knowledge is essential for understanding the principles behind effective rescue and emergency response.
STEP 2 - CONFINED WATER EXERCISES:
In controlled water environments, you'll practice skills such as assisting a tired diver, providing in-water rescue breaths, and managing panicked divers.
These exercises allow you to build confidence and competence in a controlled setting.
STEP 3 - OPEN WATER SCENARIOS:
This is where the skills and knowledge come together. You'll participate in realistic rescue scenarios in open water, simulating various emergencies.
These scenarios challenge you to apply what you've learned in a practical, hands-on manner.
